Liverpool-born and seasoned in the theater, began his career at Liverpool Playhouse. He later joined the National Youth Theatre and attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. His extensive career includes the Royal Shakespeare Company, West End, and founding a fringe venue. He also served as the first Regional Programme Manager for the National Youth Theatre in the West Midlands. Alan's recent work includes roles in Netflix's The Crown and independent films.
