FOR THE SERIOUS YOUNG PERFORMER

 

Not every child who loves performing wants to make it their career.

 

But some do.

 

Some spend every spare moment singing, acting, rehearsing and dreaming about what life might look like on a stage, television set or film location.

​

For those young performers, West End Worldwide Young Artists is launching a new Professional Development Programme this summer.

​

Designed for aspiring performers aged 8+, this unique programme offers industry insight, professional guidance and creative enrichment for young people who are serious about developing their craft and exploring future opportunities within theatre, television, film and live entertainment.

​

Whilst the programme is designed for those with professional aspirations, the experience itself will be practical, creative, inspiring and, most importantly, fun.

​

Participants will spend their time singing, acting, creating, collaborating, building confidence, making new friends and working alongside like-minded young performers who share the same passion for the arts.

​

Over five exciting days, participants will immerse themselves in the world of performance through a series of engaging workshops, creative challenges and practical experiences designed to develop confidence, stagecraft and performance skills.

​

Activities will include:

• Acting workshops

• Singing and musical theatre performance

• Audition challenges and mock castings

• Character development and storytelling

• Improvisation and theatre games

• Acting Through Song

• Confidence-building performance exercises

• Industry insight and professional guidance

 

All sessions are designed to be interactive, supportive and enjoyable whilst introducing participants to the standards, expectations and opportunities that exist within the professional performing arts industry.

 

The programme is led by Lucy Magee, CEO of West End Worldwide, theatrical producer and casting director, whose career spans more than two decades across the UK and Middle East producing professional theatre, live entertainment and large-scale events.​

Additionally, parents are invited to attend a dedicated Coffee Morning session where we can answer all your questions about training pathways, UK drama schools, Spotlight, agents, auditions and what a future in the performing arts really looks like.

This programme also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we prepare for the launch of the West End Worldwide Youth Artists Boutique Agency in September 2026.

 

This will not be a subscription service that anyone can simply join. Membership will be by invitation only and reserved for young performers who demonstrate commitment, professionalism and a genuine desire to pursue the performing arts at a higher level.
